EMOM stands for every minute on the minute. This one marks ten minutes in a row with no rest phase between them: whatever is left of a minute after the work is the rest, and the next minute starts either way.
Ten intervals of sixty seconds, so ten minutes plus the countdown. Raise the interval count for a longer block. The timer calls every new minute, so nothing here needs you to watch the screen.
How a run goes
- Press start. A ten-second countdown runs before the first minute.
- Work through the minute. One 60-second interval, announced at the top of every one.
- The next minute begins. There is no separate rest phase — the minute simply rolls over.
- Ten minutes in all. Ten intervals, then the timer stops.
What this timer does
An interval timer counts work and rest for you so you can stop counting and start moving. Set how long you work, how long you rest, and how many times — the timer handles the rest, calls every change out loud, and shows the whole session as a strip so you always know what is coming.
Time here is measured against the clock, not counted down by a ticker. Put the phone down, pick it up again, and the timer is exactly where it should be rather than a few seconds behind. That sounds like a detail until you have done eight rounds against a timer that drifted.
Every setting travels in the link. Copy the address bar and you have shared your session — no account on either end.
One thing a browser cannot do
When your screen switches off, or you leave this tab, the browser stops the audio. The clock still comes out right when you return, but you will not have heard the beeps in between. We ask the browser to keep the screen awake where it can, and we tell you when it cannot — because a tool that names its limit is more useful than one that hides it.
